Tiriana (printed in pink)
Greetings card hand block printed on recycled paper.
Tiriana is a design I created as an idea, based on an illustration to the story of 'The Last Battle' (C S Lewis). In the story, Tirian, the last king of Narnia, escapes with his unicorn, Jewel. But I have made Tirian into a princess, rather than a king, so I've changed her name to Tiriana. Also she has acquired horns - very much in the spirit of the story, in which the woods were full of trolls, nyads and dryads.
Red ink printing on a nice thick white recycled card (300gsm)
This card is A5 size, (half the size of A4), so it's quite big. The signature block on the back says 'Ludlow Gothik , Hand printed on recycled paper'.
Cards are individually hand printed, from the original blocks, using an antique press. The blocks are cut by hand, from original drawings. All designs are copyright and unique to Ludlow Gothik.
