Belle (light red ink on recycled card)

Greetings card hand block printed on recycled paper.
Belle is a drawing which came out of my head. I'd been looking at some of the classic Art Nouveau illustrations, and I wanted this to be a cross between a face, and a design. But somehow, in the block cutting process the face has become more 'real' than I bargained for... So I have named this card after Belle from 'Beauty and the Beast'.
Cards are individually hand printed using an antique press. The blocks are cut by hand, from original drawings. All designs are copyright and unique to Ludlow Gothik.
