Greetings card hand block printed on green (not recycled) card.
Belle is a drawing which came out of my head. I'd been looking at some of the classic Art Nouveau illustrations, and I wanted this to be a cross between a face, and a design. But somehow, in the block cutting process, the face has become more 'real' than I bargained for... So I have named this design after Belle from 'Beauty and the Beast'.
This green card is 270gsm, but it's much harder pressed than the usual card I use, so it appears a bit thinner. It has a smooth surface. (It's not recycled).
Cards are individually hand printed using an antique press. The blocks are cut by hand, from original drawings. All designs are copyright and unique to Ludlow Gothik.
