Tiriana

1st March already... this is my first new design since the Xmas rush. This block is a bit bigger than for my previous designs - so that the resulting cards are A5 in size, rather than the square format. I'm printing onto 280gsm recycled kraft card.

The story behind this design is the idea of an illustration for 'The Last Battle' (C S Lewis), which starts with the story of Tirian, the last king of Narnia, escaping with his unicorn, who is called Jewel. But somehow I've made this a princess rather than a king (why should the chaps have all the fun?) - and so she is called Tiriana.

I've done an initial print run, & they are currently drying. I use oil-based inks, so this takes a while.

I intend to get the e-commerce up and running this week too - as soon as I am no longer snowed in, that is. As I can't currently get to a post office...
